RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
This website aims to develop a broad range of free resources for the study of A Level Physical Education, broadly based on the syllabus offered by the OCR board.
The A Level course is about the interaction between the theory and practice of Physical Education. Pupils study the physiological and psychological factors that influence performance in sport. They study the socio-cultural factors that have influenced the development of sport from pre-industrial times up to the present.
Students are able to develop their ability to analyse and evaluate, to improve the performance of themselves and others.
Their performance in one sporting activity (as either a sports performer or coach) is assessed: students are also assessed in their evaluation and analysis of
the performance of one of their peers in a sporting activity. (Click on the tab to view the OCR specifications)
